At the Detroit Auto Show that was held during the January we were able to see the all new Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge that offered fantastic looks in combination with promise of high level performances for this luxury sedan.
Major problem with this concept vehicle is that it was shown without the engine but according to reports it seams that the Geneva Motor Show will deliver new things and among those things will be the news about engine which will be fitted for this vehicle. There is no doubt that Nissan and its luxury brand Lexus has a lot to offer in this segment so it will be interesting to see what they will deliver to Geneva.
We have also received teaser video about this car and it is certain that we will be getting engine with some kind of forced induction V lineup unit. One of the engines that could satisfy these needs is the one we are getting in Nissan GTR and there is a good chance that something like this will happen.
According to reports and rumors that we could hear, engine that was missing in Detroit will now come to Geneva and it will produce about 500 hp and 600 pound feet of torque, at least. We would be more than happy to see the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge shares some technology with Nissan GTR making it one of the best performance sedans on the market.

What we need to add is that this vehicle will go to the luxury sedan market and it can’t be brutal like GTR, it will need to keep it highly refined and vehicles like BMW M5 comes to our mind when it comes to potential competitors.
Vehicle that will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show will come as a much more complete vehicle with engine all that it needs. This one will represent pretty much production ready version and we certainly do hope that the final product will remain true to the concept.
From the Johan de Nysschen the President of Infiniti we could hear: “Our engineers have perfectly captured the tone of Infiniti’s take on premium performance, and a car that is as impressive as the Q50 Eau Rouge sounds is surely a car to challenge performance cars in the premium sector.”

While looking and watching the teaser video we could hear the sound about which Mr Johan de Nysschen was talking about and there is no doubt that we liked it. What else we know is that many will like it also.
