Not so long ago Nissan Altima was one of the vehicles that did not promise a lot but in the last few years this vehicle significantly improved and now we are getting one significant force on the market. With the delivery of 2015 Nissan Altima we are sure that this company will manage to attract additional number of buyers to its brand.
Everything has been upgraded in the last few years and on the list of upgrades we have improvements in infotainment system, higher quality of used materials and good powertrains. Also the handling received changes and now it offers better ride quality but still managing to bring decent performances.
Under the hood every buyer will be able to choose between 2.5 liter inline four cylinder engine that offers 182 hp or the more powerful 3.5 liter V6 unit that is capable of delivering 270 hp and 258 pound feet of torque. Smaller engine comes with CVT and is capable of returning 27/38 mpg in city/highway drive conditions. It does offer enough power for all your daily excursions but for those that want more power should have in mind that the larger engine returns 22/30 mpg. In case with 3.5 liter V6 unit power is transferred through a CVT transmission that also comes with manual shift mode and paddle shifters.
Review Of 2015 Altima
Exterior changes include new headlamps and different tail lights, also on the list of parts that received upgrades are the fenders that now further improve the aggressive level of this vehicle. Overall length of the 2015 Nissan Altima is 191.5 inches and with 109.3 inch wheelbase it offered decent amount of space in interior. It is identical to a previous model when it comes to size and that is ok since we always had enough space.
When it comes to interior there are also decent amount of upgrades. Seats and materials used inside are of better quality while the 7 inch screen is used for navigation and for controlling the system. Standard features also include dual zone automatic climate control, rear view camera, glass sunroof, pushbutton start/stop and similar.
Base model of 2015 Nissan Altima is priced at the $ 21.500 and seven models are offered for price that is lower than $ 30.000. It certainly is a great competitor on the family sedan market but have in mind that some serious competitors are also available. With addition of larger number of features that are offered as optional price will go significantly higher but still remain in competitive range when we take a look at the current offer on the market.
