Just recently we have received images of the face lifted 2015 Infiniti QX80 but that was delivered as the Nissan Patrol SUV. We know that these two vehicles are almost identical and because of this it is expected that we will be getting refreshed version really soon.
We will not offer those images mainly because those are only rumors and from other source we could hear that the version on the spy photos is 2014th model but with few changes and customized features so it looks slightly different than a standard model. Since it has been spotted in Dubai it is highly possible that this is one custom made model.
2015 Infiniti QX80 Changes
Among the things that will be changed it is expected that new model will offer more elegant and refined front end while on the back we will have refreshed tail lights. Looking from the side there will be few small upgrades in the bottom segment of the doors plus larger and redesigned alloy wheels.
Changes will not be dramatic, this could be only a mild facelift. Even the currently available model is offered on the market from 2011th it is still quite successful. This is the biggest vehicle in the Infiniti lineup and is also most expensive making it one quite important vehicle in the lineup.
Just like it was the case with the previous model and the Nissan Patrol we will be getting the 2015 Infiniti QX80 with 5.6 liter V8 engine that is capable of pumping out 400 hp and 413 pound-feet of torque. Slight improvements are expected but nothing major so the power will be transferred through a seven speed automatic transmission that offers quite smooth and insensible operation. One great addition to operation of this gearbox is the throttle blip for downshifts. With this setup refreshed QX80 will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about seven seconds which is quite respectable results looking at the size and weight of this vehicle.
Review Of 2015 Infiniti QX80
Major change for the new model is the name change which is a part of the new naming strategy of Infiniti but as always we are getting great looking and high quality interior. Great looks of the exterior are continued with the interior and we are getting equally impressive cabin. Combination of wood and leather looks great offering comfortable and fatigue free rides no matter if you are on front or rear seats. Stitching is perfect and the materials used are of finest quality and this is easily noticeable on almost every surface.
Price will not differ significantly from what we were ready to pay for 2014th model and the 2015 Infiniti QX80 will come with a base price of slightly less than $64.000 while the base AWD model will cost about $4000 more. Have in mind that for this amount of money you will be getting premium and luxury SUV with powerful V8 unit and good performances.
